1. Just today I realized I've forgotten how to fly a kite.  Seriously.  It's a glorious windy day and I'm out there looking like the most uncoordinated idiot EVER in front of my kids.  Sure, no one forgets how to ride a bicycle, but no one ever warned me about the kite thing.  It's a whole lot harder than it looks.  Oh, and I checked with my mom: the kite was a graduation present.

2. I am, or was, a licensed forklift operator. I learned at Disney of all places.  I was a member of the Hurricane ride out crew, people who signed up to work through a Hurricane and batten down the hatches of the Studios.  Honestly, I always thought I'd be safer there than in an apartment anyway, though I did worry about my cat.  I don't know why my name was pulled for forklift training, but six of us were earmarked for it and it was a fun day.  The training occured about two weeks *after* the only Hurricane (Opal) that I was ever called in for.

3.  Ketchup makes me gag.  It's quite possibly the nastiest food stuff on the planet.  Which is strange, cause tomatos are awesome.

4. I asked my hubby for help with this and he said a weird fact is my book reading.  I don't know any better, but if it's weird to you that I demolished Harry Potter #6 in roughly five hours then there ya go.  It's May and I've read 34 books this year, not counting the three I started and lost interest in and returned to the library unfinished.  Also not counting comics, or my Entertainment Weekly.

5.  I already had to resort to help for number four; I'm really stretching for "some weird, some random" facts about myself.  Um, random: I once came in third in the state for 4-H horse judging when I lived in KY. When you are a seventh grade horse mad girl living in the heart of the Bluegrass, this is quite the accomplishment.  I almost lost my BF at the time over the award because it was my first year and she'd been doing it for quite awhile.

6. My first kiss was on Pirates of the Carribean.  Later on the same day I dragged a friend into the car with myself and the young man when we went on Haunted Mansion because I wasn't sure I wanted it to happen again.

7.  In third grade I fell in love with sardines and wanted to take them to lunch all of the time.  I LIKED grossing my friends out.  Just don't make me eat ketchup!
