But Not the Hippopotamus

I've been quiet this week, I know.  I'm still out here, though.  My trip to KY with my choir and then family visiting and driving back with my mom and more visiting wore me out.  I've spent the week trying to get back in gear and it just hasn't happened yet.  Sometimes it's just harder than others, not in a bad way, just in a "there's less time for idle thoughts, much less posting them online" sort of way.

Happy Friday and if I don't see you tomorrow Happy Fourth of July.  We have a great country and are lucky to get to live here.  No matter how dire things seem with jobs, finances, gas prices, politics, and what not I belive it is important to remember that.
